This brought to reality the dream of a small group to educate future
leaders through a quality education in a Christian environment.
The ideals of this group carry on.
OCS has grown to be the largest Christian school in northeast
Louisiana, serving families in 7 parishes in Louisiana, as well as 2
counties in southern Arkansas.

PARENT/TEACHER
COMMUNICATION:
We
recognize that communication with parents is vital for a student’s success.
We communicate differently depending on the age of the student, but
our goal of connecting with the parent is always the same.
Elementary students bring home weekly updates on assignments and
grades. In grades 4th-12th
we utilize Edline. This is an
online service that allows parents access to lesson plans, homework, and
current grades for their student.
We also schedule parent-teacher conferences and send emails or notes
when needed in an effort to keep the parent informed.
