Admissions

Applicants for admission to Ouachita Christian School must furnish evidence that they are physically and emotionally fit, of good moral character, and academically capable. In addition, all applicants must:

  • Complete all of the Application Procedures detailed on this page

  • Be eligible for re-enrollment in the school last attended

  • Have no suspensions or expulsions from school last attended

  • Have no academic grade average lower than "C"

  • Be free of severe learning or behavioral problems

  • Not have been recently released from any type of rehabilitation program (i.e., drug, alcohol, behavior, mental, etc.)

  • Have read and agreed to comply will all policies in the Student Handbook

All new students will be accepted on behavioral and academic probation for a period of one calendar year. During this period, conduct and scholarship will be monitored closely. Continued enrollment is dependent upon acceptable levels of attendance, behavior, psychological maturity and academic achievement.

Any exception to the above stated policies will be made by the appropriate admissions committee after a prayerful and thorough review of any mitigating circumstances.
