Why Give?
- Because it is the only way for the school to exist and improve since
the school does not receive government. The present existence and the
quality of its future existence depend on donations.
- Because of the sacrificial giving of people in the past who laid the
foundation for today's excellence by organizing the school, purchasing
land, constructing buildings, and supporting operations. It is now our
turn.
- Because of the future of the children who will be encouraged to grow
as Jesus did in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.
- Because of the impact on the world that OCS students will exert.
- Because this is God's school and the Bible says "It is more blessed
to give than to receive."
There are many ways people have chosen to partner with us in the Lord's
work at Ouachita Christian School. If you are interested in any of the

- Prayer Partners - praying for OCS on a daily basis
- Volunteer Opportunities - giving of your time and
skills. Join the “PIT CREW”. The Parent Involvement Team support many
activities taking place at the school. This is a “hands-on” group that
truly makes a difference at OCS.
- OCS Annual Fundraisers - Currently, we have three main
annual fundraisers. Your support for any or all of these is greatly
appreciated.
- Magazine Fundraiser - conducted each Fall
- Restaurant Card Program – conduced each Spring to
support OCS Athletics
- Annual Benefit Dinner - held each Spring – this
year Rocky Bleier (former Pittsburgh Steeler and Vietnam Veteran) will
speak on February 4, 2006
- Alumni Golf Tournament – held each Summer
