- GOAL
Ouachita Christian School (OCS) will provide educators and learners a technology rich environment at both the elementary and secondary levels that enhances student development and achievement.
- Objective 1: Access
All teachers will have a computer in their classroom and all students will have access to current and appropriate information technology resources in the lab setting.
- Objective 2: Integration of Technology and Learning
Technology resources will be an integral part of all applicable curricula to foster student development and achievement on an individual level.
- Objective 3: Professional Development
All teachers will have access to ongoing professional development that prepares them to effectively use and integrate technology into the curriculum and to use grading software to communicate with parents and students via the Internet.
- Objective 4: Student Progress Reports and Communication
Teachers in grades 3 – 12 will use computer resources to calculate and communicate grades and lesson plans to parents and students via the Internet.
- Objective 5: Technology Policy, Accountability, and Leadership
The School will provide continuous leadership, guidance, and resources to faculty, staff and students to meet the rise and demand of educational technology.
- Objective 6: Partnerships and Public Awareness
The OCS Community and all interested individuals will have information available that will enable them to be aware of, understand, and share in the technology goals of OCS.
