But if we confess our sins, he will forgive our sins.

DEVO for the Day

Jesus Calling – You’ve heard people say “walk the walk.” This means you should live the way you know is right. Well, now I am asking you to “think the thought.” Think the way you know you should – with thoughts centered on Me. When you do, there is no room for thoughts of sin, revenge, hatred, self-pity, or gossip.

I know sometimes a thought just zips into your brain – you don’t know where it came from and you don’t want it there. Toss it right back out again. I don’t hold you responsible for that kind of thought. But when you find yourself holding on to a bad thought – or returning to it over and over again like a familiar song – then you need to bring that thought to Me. Don’t try to hide it. Confess it and leave it with Me. Then you can go on your way with a clear mind and a forgiven heart.
