TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES: due to technical difficulties with the recording yesterday, I haven't been able to post the actual video for this lesson. I will continue working with it and if I cannot upload by Monday, I will re-record and go from there. Class today (Friday) was spent making sure ALL google classroom assignments as well as diagramming sentences from EPs 121, 122, and 124.

Many students were absent or did not finish the assignments from Thursday and Friday's lessons so we used class time to catch up on all EPs, Apply and Writes, workbook pages, and diagramming of sentences from the EPs. Take the day to make sure you are caught up on everything and then read if you have time left over. We will check workbook page 238 and then move on to the next lesson tomorrow.

Today is chapel day, and we are on a shorter schedule. Therefore, I have given the students class time to ensure they can complete lesson 5 aspire review that was passed out to them yesterday. Take this time to be sure you are caught up on all assignments and use some of the time for reading AR.

Today is class, the students completed Aspire review lessons 3 and 4. We will go over these together Tuesday, April 6.

In class today, we completed independently this aspire review packet. After completing these pages, students were required to make sure all past assignments are caught up and then read AR books for the rest of the period. We will go over this packet tomorrow.

Today in class we made note cards for the chapter 11 vocabulary words. The only other thing we did was to make sure all past work had been completed. Check over all of the Apply and Write and EP assignments from the past two weeks. If the assignment is graded, there is no need to return it to me.

This morning in class we completed (independently) the chapter 11 review (Pgs 213 & 214) and then caught up on all past assignments and studied for the vocabulary test tomorrow, making sure note cards are complete. After the vocabulary test, we will check the chapter review and prepare for the chapter 11 test Friday.

You may use your English book pages 117-120 if you need help with these questions. This will be a daily grade.

Think of a pair of homographs. Refer to a dictionary if necessary. Write a pair (2 sentences) of sentences using one homograph in each.

Test over prepositions list A-W this Thursday!!

Re-type your personal narrative. Make sure you are typing carefully and correcting the errors from your rough draft. Check the rubric to be certain you have included all necessary elements. Notes on format: center your title, indent each paragraph using the "tab" button, leave one blank line space between the title and body as well as between each paragraph, use at least 14 point font.

Use Google docs to type a rough draft from your personal narrative plan from page 30 in the English workbook- complete that plan BEFORE you begin the rough draft. The current due date is next Monday, but it can be adjusted if necessary.

I had to return some of the Apply and Write assignments ungraded because of not following directions. Please check your email to make sure I haven't contacted you about it. If you haven't turned it in corrected, I will be forced to be a 0 in the grade book.
