For the next 2 weeks we will be reading nonfiction books in class concentrating on Black History Month. The students will have a report to fill out as they read each day and a sentence to write that summarizes what they read (about 10 pages a day). The report will be due next Friday, 2-12-21. We will then give oral presentations the next week from the summaries they have written.

The children then listen to him tell them the story of Prince Caspian and all that has happened in Narnia since they left. Aslan signals for Lucy and the others to follow him up the gorge. He then leads them to the hill of the Stone Table. Peter, Trumpkin, and Edmund hear Nikabrik arguing with Caspian. Edmund delivers Peter's challenge to King Miraz. The Narnians defeat the Telmarines in a battle and Prince Caspian becomes the ruler of Narnia. The children return to the train station in England.

MONDAY - we will begin 180 Days of Reading in class and work Week 1, a page a day; we will review CIA (summer read) over the next 2 weeks with study guides, vocabulary terms, character list, and a group project. The summer read packet will be due this Friday and we may be able to take the AR test at the end of the week.
TUESDAY - study the vocabulary terms for a test on Friday; review characters, and work on summer read packet (will be turned in Friday)
