Four OCS graduates from the Class of 2021 were recently named Advanced Placement Scholars by the College Board.
Sydney Denton, James Graves, Cal Idom and Jack Parker were recognized for demonstrating exemplary college-level achievement on AP exams.
The AP Scholars Award is granted to student who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
Denton is the daughter of Amber and Richard Denton and attends Mississippi State University. Parker is the son Dr. Tommy and Cynthia and attends Louisiana State University. Idom is the sone of Calvin and Angie Idom and attends Louisiana Tech University. Graves is the son of Dr. Sol and Jana Graves and attends LSU
The College Board’s AP Program provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams.
