When we describe OCS, we begin with our mission -- Preparing Youth for Time and Eternity. These six words breathe life into everything we do here, aiming to develop our students spiritually, academically, and athletically.
Exploring the information on this site will provide you ample information, but for this moment, let us share these things with you:
- We are a Christian school, teaching and practicing Biblical truths.
- We provide a traditional college-preparatory experience, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten for three-year-olds to 12th grade, using an academically challenging curriculum reflecting the Louisiana Board of Regents admissions standards for Louisiana Public Four-Year Universities, Louisiana TOPS University curriculum/Louisiana TOPS Scholarship Program, all from a Biblical worldview.
- Our students serve our community in many experiences as the hands and feet of Christ, with particular involvement in the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank and the DeSiard Street Homeless Shelter.
- Our athletic program is singularly successful, producing multiple state champion and finalist teams and individuals in football, basketball, softball, track, and more.
