Eagle Alumni Events

Ouachita Christian hosts several events throughout the year for alumni. No matter where you go in this world, you and your classmates will always be a part of the OCS Eagle Family. Check this tab for details on upcoming reunions, get-togethers, and events.

Homecoming
Each year at Homecoming, OCS Alumni from across the country return to reconnect with old friends, visit with former teachers, and share stories of days at OCS. Alumni are invited to all Homecoming festivities including

  • a Thursday night pep rally on the eve of the Homecoming football game
  • the Homecoming Court presentation on Friday morning at North Monroe Baptist Church
  • the Homecoming football game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday 
  • Eagle Alumni Village, open to all Eagle Alumni during the football game, under the baseball pavilion east of the stadium. Alumni are encouraged to come by to see former classmates and enjoy the food and festivities.
  • a tour of the campus on Saturday following the Homecoming game.

Much has changed -- and much has stayed the same -- come by to see for yourself!   

7-on-7 Tournament

Eagle Alumni who played OCS Football are invited to participate in the annual 7-on-7 Passing Tournament led by Coach Steven Fitzhugh.

Each year since 2015, the OCS Football program hosts the tournament at 2 p.m. on Homecoming day before the football game. All OCS Football Alumni are invited to participate.

Alumni are seeded on teams comprised of graduates from multiple years and often include current football players. Teams compete against each other, tournament-style.

Alumni Lunch Gatherings

Periodic alumni lunch gatherings are held in the Monroe area. For information on the next gathering, contact Melinda Winn ('83) at [email protected].      Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament

Each fall OCS Alumni coordinate the annual W.L. "Jack" Howard Memorial Golf Tournament to raise funds for our Annual Fund supporting academics, technology, and fine arts.

This event is a great opportunity for former Eagles to interact with current Eagle students, parents, teachers and coaches. The tourney is open to Eagle Alumni and their friends and colleagues. For more information, contact us at [email protected].
